David uses a humanistic person-centered approach with a foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

David is a certified intimate partner violence victim’s advocate and a certified anger management treatment provider. He works with both attorneys and individual’s in complex court related cases in order to formulate the most therapeutic outcome that meets and often exceeds the court’s expectations. David will also provide reunification services, court ordered treatment, and evaluations. These cases require a phone consultation.

David has both experience and specialized training in Exposure Therapy and is EMDR trained which are both effective treatment for trauma and PTSD. He also has specialized training in exposure methods for combat-related PTSD.

David focuses his work in court-related matters, combat-related C-PTSD, and couples and family work.

“My goal is to treat the entire individual by helping them recognize their skills, strengths, and abilities to reach their own full potential. This can be done not only by treating symptoms but by working on each individual’s core needs.”

Leslie is a Dialectical Behavior Therapist (DBT) and also uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in her work with teens, young adults, and individuals.

“I specialize in working with teens and young adults that may be struggling with mood regulation, finding a sense of self, have out of control anxiety, describes themselves as having difficulty with interpersonal relationships, may use self-harm as a means to cope, or might have frequent suicidal thoughts.”

Leslie created the Teen DBT Program so that both the teen and their parents or caregivers can benefit from learning Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotional Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness in a therapeutic environment.

“My experience includes working with those that have experienced depression, anxiety, mood dysregulation such as bipolar disorder or
Borderline Personality Disorder, and replacing self-harm with positive coping mechanisms.”

Leslie provides assessments and letters necessary to facilitate gender care needs.

Jacob is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and is specially trained to understand relationship dynamics and know how to help individuals, couples, and families overcome the challenges they face. Jacob’s expertise can guide individuals to learn new ways of relating to people and improve relationships, interpersonal effectiveness, and improve therapeutic outcomes in both individual therapy and couples/family therapy.

“I look at the whole system and guide each partner in that system to examine each part in a safe environment. By learning about the system they are a part of, it can really open up the possibilities to change things for each individual, family, or couple.”

Jacob works with couples from all walks of life and identifies as a culturally competent provider in differing relationship structures and lifestyles.

Jacob is also a passionate athlete and a sports psychology provider. He specializes in working with athletes from all sports disciplines to assist them in rehabilitation after injury, performance anxiety, and to improve overall athletic performance to achieve their goals.
